Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, January 27, 2013, Chesley J. Perry of Harbour Grace, age 90 years. Predeceased by parents: Nicholas and Annie; brother: Nicholas; sister: Lillian Hagen. Left to mourn, wife: Ruby; four daughters: Jeanne (Terry) Whelan, Mount Pearl, Lillian (Bruce) Gibbons, Kentville, ON, Jacqueline (David) Bussey, Winsor, ON and Rachelle (Larry) O'Shea, Harbour Grace; one son: Nicholas (Judie), Winnipeg, MB; nine grandchildren: Meaghan, Michael, Nicole, Jamie, Shawn, Krissy, Brenden, Kathy and Jessica; five great-grandchildren: Anna, Holly, Emmett, Luke and William; one brother: Raymond 'Nip's', Harbour Grace; one sister: Carol Daniel, Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law: Effie Perry, Harbour Grace and his Harbour Lodge Family; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Russell Small conducted the funeral service on Thursday, January 31 at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in his memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace or to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
