Andrew 'Andy' Dale Kennedy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andy Kennedy on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney surrounded by his family.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of Mrs. Maria Kennedy and the late Andrew Kennedy.
He was employed with Cape Breton Regional Hospital in the payroll department and later was employed with Lloydminister City Hall in the payroll department.
Andy enjoyed golfing and playing the guitar. He was in many country bands over the years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his mother, Andy is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Zablaska); his children, Ryan Kennedy (Stephanie), Andrew ‘Fuzzy’ (Sheila) Kennedy, Samantha Kennedy (Steven), all of Lloydminister; grandchildren, Averee, Maddox and Carter; brother, Darren Kennedy, Halifax; nephew, Jamie; niece, Aleta; father and mother-in-law, George and Verlie Zablaska as well as the extended Zablaska family.
Visitation will be held today (Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013) at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment to take place in Loch End Cemetery, Catalone.
