SWEENEY, WILLIAM TURNEY - It is with great sadness that the family of William "Bill" Sweeney announces his death on February 6th, 2013. Born May 23rd, 1944 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Leonard and Greta (Manzer) Sweeney and husband to the late Sheila (Fasquel) Sweeney. Bill is survived by his children, Dana Sweeney (Barbara) of Riverview, NB and Krista Sweeney of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Emma and Connor Sweeney of Riverview, NB; sister, Gayle Mercer of Kelowna, BC and his second wife, Patricia and her children.
Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Sunday, February 10th, 2013 from 3 to 6 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 11th, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Terry Atkinson officiating. Interment will be held in Taymouth at a later date in the spring.
