BROWN, SUSAN L. - Susan L. Brown, 62, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday evening, February 8, 2013. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Ross and Peggy (Snyder) Hicks. Susan was employed as a child care worker with Wee College and was a former member of Parkside Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, knitting, drawing for fashion design, day trips with her parents and sister, trips to Cape Breton (Louisburg), spending time at the family cottage, socializing with her friends and spending precious time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson. In addition to her parents Ross and Peggy, Susan will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 44 years, Dale Brown; precious sons, Jeffrey (Corrine), Scott (Krista), Jason (Amy) and Shawn (Jessica); cherished grandchildren, Sarah (Nick), Kelsey, Kerrigan, Liam, Brittany, Jacob and Haley; great grandson, Cameron; sister, Kim Young (Paul); several nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her precious brother, Gregory; uncles, Eldon and Ron Snyder, Floyd Wilson, Richard, Gerald and Sherman Hicks. Special thanks to special friends, Clem and Dora Mae and Aunt Betty for the love and care given to Susan during her illness.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at 11:00 am with Dr. Laurel Buckingham officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment , Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
