Karen Johnson

JOHNSON, KAREN - It is with heartfelt sorrow and deep regret that we announce the passing of Karen Johnson on February 9, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Karen was born December 12, 1967, in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. She was employed by Kent for many years but the most important part of her life was spent as a loving wife and dedicated mother to her two beautiful girls. Karen was blessed to spend twenty-four years with her soul mate and best friend Mike. Together they were unstoppable. They made each other’s dreams come true. She lived for her family, as they were the most important part of her world, always so protective and proud of her girls and all their accomplishments. She was involved in every dance rehearsal and soccer game. Karen enjoyed life to the fullest and lived every moment to its capacity. She was a loyal and committed friend to those who were lucky enough to know her. Karen had many passions including cooking, photography, sewing and travel with her love Mike and the girls. Forever organized and thorough with every aspect of her projects, her enthusiasm was contagious. Her home was always filled with the joy and laughter of friends and family. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Mike, their two daughters Jessica and Alyssa; her mother and father Sharon and John MacDonald; sisters Catherine (Sean) Ryan, Mary; brother Joe; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Brooke, Kaleigh and Matthew; brother-in-law Shawn (Angie) Johnson; sister-in-law Darlene (Joe) Zinck; father and step mother-in-law Roland and Bette Johnson.
