TAYES, RONSON - The death of Ronson Leverne Tayes, husband of Phyllis (Mitchell) Tayes, of Bloomfield, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was born on March 8, 1934, in Hillsdale, NB, the son of the late Charles and Jenny (Mallory) Tayes. Ronson is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis; daughter Kelly Tayes and Howard Green of Sussex, NB; sons Randy Tayes of BC, Leslie Tayes and his wife Melinda of Bloomfield, NB; step daughters Margaret Rideout and her husband Philip of Norton, NB, Patsy Lockhart and her husband Hollis of Belleisle Creek, NB; step son Larry Hutchings of Saint John, NB; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Dolly Brennan of Hillsdale, NB; brothers Cecil Tayes of Vancouver, BC, John Tayes and his wife Eleanor of Hampton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his step son Ronald Hutchings; sisters Jean Colwell, Thelma Earle, Muriel Ryder, Helen Hay; brothers Charlie and Elmer.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Funeral service, conducted by, Lawrence Earle, will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Interment will take place in Big Rock Cemetery, Bloomfield, in the Spring.
