Clifford Bell passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years, on Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Cliff was the beloved husband of Olive for over 46 years, and the loving father of Carol Fee (Don), Frank Bell, and Brenda Nicholson (Frank), as well as the cherished grandfather of 7. Cliff was born to William and Catherine Bell on April 5th, 1924, on the family farm near Shamrock, SK. He grew up attending the Standon-Wiwa Hill Country School. He was also a student of “Sunday School by Post”, through which he met Olive Farnden. They married on July 9, 1966 and they continued to farm together on the family farm near Shamrock until retiring to Moose Jaw. In Moose Jaw, they were committed members and actively involved at St. George Anglican Church, until the Anglican Churches amalgamated to form St. Aidan Church, where they attended faithfully. As a lifelong farmer, he enjoyed his retirement in Moose Jaw, spending time in his garden and picking berries. Clifford also loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed old time fiddle music, puzzles, and building things out of wood.
