COFFRIN, Marjorie Kathleen - 93, formerly of Melbourne, passed away on February 16, 2013, at the Villa Saint. Joseph du Lac. Born July 6, 1919 she was a daughter of the late William “Alton” and Alice “Gertrude” (Smith) Lent. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a member of the New Heights Baptist Church in Arcadia, member of the Rebecca Lodge and Arcadia Women’s Institute. She worked at the El Rancho Motel and also the Villa Saint Joseph du Lac. She is survived by daughters, Cora (Luciano)Tenaglia; Carol Coffrin ; Ruth (Wayne) Doucette ; Susan (Bill) MacKinlay; son, Bill (Brenda); 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Marjorie was the last surviving member of her immediate family and besides her parents is predeceased by husband Lawson; son, Jim; daughter, Pauline; sisters, Helen, Mildred, Pauline and Ruth; brothers, Murray and Ken Smith; step sister, Vivian; step brother, Eugene; and granddaughter, Diane Tenaglia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation took place Monday, February 18, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held Tuesday, February 19, at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.D “Bill” Newell officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in Marjorie’s memory may be made to Argyle Home Support Service, New Heights Baptist Church, Tri County Victorian Order of Nurses or the charity of your choice.
