It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend on Feb. 17, 2013, with her loving son and daughter-in-law at her side.
Born in Sydney, April 14,1942, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Frances (McGinn) Risk.
Patsy was predeceased by her husband, Tommy, brother, Joe, sisters, Winnie and Millie, and sister-in-law, Mary.
She is survived by her loving son, Darryl (Jocelyn); daughters, Alana (James), Debbie (Keith); and her loving grandchildren; her brothers, A.J., Art (Gayle), Eddy, Charlie, Ricky; sisters, Frances, Elizabeth and Peggy (Glenn); many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, sister-in-law, Claire, and aunt, Lena.
Patsy will be fondly remembered by her customers at Kay’s Kozy Corner where she worked for 30 years, and Corrections Canada where she worked for 15 years. Patsy’s pleasure in life was spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren (her pride and joy). She loved going for long drives and lazy days at the beach, spending time in her neighbourhood, and at the Cedars Club.

Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
