Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013, Sylvester J. Stapleton of Lamaline, age 90 yrs. Leaving to mourn: wife Mildred, 6 children, Kevin(Darlene), Wayne(Mary), Keith(Ruth), Gary(Sylvia), Terry(Terry-Lynn), Wanda(Wade),9 grandchildren Patrick, Mark, Nadine, Nicole, Tina, Steven, Robyn, Vicki & Bradley. 3 great grandchildren, Hunter, Cooper & Sarah. 2 sisters, Genievive Loder & Theresa Smith. Plus a circle of other relatives & friends. Funeral Mass was conducted by Father Cecil Critch from St. Joseph's Church Lamaline at 1pm on Saturday, February 16th, 2013. Music was provided by Father Cecil Critch & Mary Hodge. Pall Bearers were: Gary Stapleton, Wayne Stapleton, Terry Stapleton, Keith Stapleton, Wade Bonnell,& Larry Simms. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of Cremains to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Tanner Fitzpatrick.
