Harrington, Robina Drummond - 88, Glenholme, passed away Feb. 24th, 2013. She was born August 13th, 1924 in Leslie, Fife, Scotland. She migrated with her parents, John and Agnes Bayne, and nine brothers and three sisters to North Grant, Antigonish Co. One brother, Harry, was born in Canada. Robina, known simply as “Gram”, was adored by all her family. Always kind and compassionate, her loving smile, warm hugs and tender heart will be greatly missed. Survived by her loving sons John (Kathy), George (Darlene), Charles (Linda), David (Lousie) and daughters Eleanor (James) Aitkens, Rosalie (Richard) Tenderenda , Carol Pash (Mike Doucette), Nancy Harrington (Russell Graham); 18 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Ella (Albert) Ferster, Hamilton, Ont. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Walter; infant twins, Wilma and Wallace; parents, John and Agnes Bayne; sisters, Agnes (Haggart) and Bella (Pushie); brothers, Bill, John, Tom, Dave, Wallace, George, John, Alex, and Harry.

Visitation will be held today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro; funeral service on Wednesday, February 27 at 2:00 pm in Erskine United Church, Glenholme with Carol Gillard M.Div. and Rev. Don MacQueen officiating. Spring interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
