JAILLET, REGIS JOSEPH - Regis Jaillet of Irishtown, NB passed away on February 24, 2013 at the age of 88, after a lengthy stay at the Moncton Hospital. Born on June 8, 1924, he was the son of the late Celestin and Elise (Richard) Jaillet formerly of St. Edouard, NB. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Moncton Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Regis will be sadly missed by his wife of 64 years, Juanita (Knox) Jaillet, formerly of Chipman, NB; sons, Reginald (Johanne) of Scotch Settlement, NB, Steven (Kathy) of Richmond Hill, Ont, Terry (Monica) of Irishtown, NB; and his daughter Cindy (John Fitzsimmons) of Canaan Station, NB; three brothers, Ernest (Lorraine) of Dixon Point, NB, Edmond (Shirley) of Winfield, BC and Emile (Rachel) of Shediac, NB; 10 grandchildren, Shawn, Joshua, Paul, Michael, Darren, Lisa, Jane, Kevin, Dustin and Caitlin; and by five great grandchildren. Regis was predeceased by one great granddaughter, Jessica; six brothers, Clement (Christine), Sylvio (Eileen), Oscar (Dorothy), Fernand (Marion), Narcisse (Pierrette) and Norman (Mary); four sisters, Anne Emma (Edmond), Helena (Gerard), Antoinette (Euclide) and Eva (Gerard).
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm with funeral service held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
