John 'Shavey' Eldridge

With great sadness and regret the family of John David Eldridge wish to announce his passing on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, with family by his side.
He was loving husband of 39 years to Andrea Eldridge (McPhee). Cherished father to Paula (Rob), Jennifer (Will), Sherri (Jud) and Melissa Dawn. Devoted Poppa to Johnathan, Emma, Cristian, Kylia, Jaykob, Degan and Bricen.
Predeceased by his parents, Eleanor and John Eldridge and his sister, Brenda (Jan).
He will be missed by his siblings, Gail (Allen), Glenn (Greg) and baby sister, Tracy (Jamie). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
At his request no funeral services will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Canadian Red Cross.
