We, the family of the late Mildred Apblett, wish to express our thanks and appreciation to all, who visited the funeral home or attended the funeral, sent Sympathy, Mass Cards, enrollments, memorials, food or monetary donations. Archdeacon Brenda Drake, thank you for being there for us, and the beautiful funeral service. To the pallbearers, who lovingly carried their grandmother to church, Brad, Ronnie, Susan, Roby, Wendy, Jamie, Samantha and Logan, Nan would have been so proud. Thank you to the readers, son-in-law, Albert Hussey and grandsons, Brad Hussey and Ronnie Carew. Our heartfelt appreciation to the organist and choir of St. Alban’s church and grandson, Jamie Carew, for his loving rendition of “In the Garden”, you could almost hear Nan singing along. To the staff of 4C and Palliative Care of the Cape Breton Region Hospital and Terry Nichols and Staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel, we would never have gotten through this without your wonderful help and caring. Thank you, to St. Alban’s ACW for the lovely lunch.
