CONRAD, OWEN - Owen William Conrad, 84, of the Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Salisbury and Conquerall Bank, N.S. passed away at the Center on February 27, 2013. Born in Bridgewater, N.S. he was a son of the late William H. and Ida (Oickle) Conrad. A longtime employee of Acadia Gas Engines, in retirement he operated Conrad Family Cleaners in Bridgewater. He loved music and played several instruments and enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 42 years Cheryl (Beacroft); his children Eric (Elizabeth) of Lower Bedque, P.E., Stephen of Moncton, Lori Zawadzki (Matt) of Lutes Mountain; a sister Jenny Conrad and by several nieces nephews and cousins. Predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Fredericton Road, Salisbury N.B.
