POWERS, EMILY - It is with great sadness that we lost our wonderful mother, Emily Powers, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at York Care Centre. Emily is survived by daughters Irene (Brian) Gillcash, Ruth (Douglas) Colwell, Shirley Paul and (Clarence), Barbara (Phillip Atwin), one son, Blair Boudreau, 14 grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her wonderful husband Allison Powers, her lovely daughter-in-law, Mearl Boudreau, her sisters Myrtle Boudreau and Bessie Boudreau, and her brother George LeBritton.
In keeping with Emily's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Graveside service will take place at a later date. www.hoggfunerals.ca
