LANDRY, LOUIS J. - 1938 - 2013 - Louis J. Landry, 74, of Brown Street, Shediac and formerly Robichaud, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born August 22, 1938 in Robichaud Office, he was the son of the late Zacharie and Ida (Cormier) Landry. He will be sadly missed by his two daughters: Monique (Ronny) Léger of Portage and Pauline (Terry) Breau of Shediac; two sisters: Généva Babineau of Boudreau-Ouest and Simone Landry of Cap-Pelé; one brother, Roger Landry of Moncton; four grandchildren: Isabelle, Mireille Léger, Mathieu and Mélanie Breau; two special cousins: Neri Cormier (Dora) of Larry’s River and the late Roméo Cormier and his wife, Yvonne Cormier of Petit-Cap, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Elta Landry (2007) and by a brother, Antoine “Tony”.
By request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri R.C. Church, Grand-Barachois, on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:30 am. A reception will be held following the funeral mass at the Golden Age Club, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Louis, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (palliative care) would be appreciated by the family.
