Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, February 25, 2013, Mrs. Helen Ruth Gosse, aged 88 years, of Coley’s Point. Predeceased by parents Kenneth and Olive Batten (nee Evans), husband Winston Gosse, sister Margaret Thurlow (nee Batten). Leaving to mourn brother Roy Batten (Edmonton, Alberta); cousins: Rev’d Kenneth B. Abbott, William J. Abbott, and many special caregivers and a large circle of other friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitations: Thursday: 2 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Grace United Church, Coley’s Point with inurnment at the Grace United Cemetery, Coley’s Point. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
