It is with great sadness that the family of the late Otto Jefferies announce his passing on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 91st year. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, children: Ron (Pat), Gene (Wen Qian), Jerry (Paula), Melvina (Robert Dalley), Angela (Ralph Hoyles), Corina (Gary Oake), Lamonte (Lois) and Michelle with whom he resided with; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother Bill Jefferies; sisters: Pearl Rose, Vera Demaria, Phyllis Frazer, Ruth Ball and Verna Green. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Muriel (nee Butler) in 1997, infant son Neville, daughter Addwina and son Mervin, parents William & Maude, in-laws Delilah & James Butler, brothers Bruce, Clyde, Melvin and Elmo. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Church with Majors Wayne & BettyAnn Pike officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on High Street.
