At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, with his loving wife by his side, of Marvin Harold Riley of Alberton, age 77 years. Cherished husband to Lily Mae (nee Henderson) Riley. Born at Toronto, Ont., on Aug. 31, 1936, he was the son of the late Harold and Mazel (nee Lundy) Riley. Dear stepfather to Chester (Ferne) Adams, Darlene (Jerry) Blanchard, Allan (Janet) Adams, Karen (James) McDonald, Cathy (David) Lidstone, Sandra (Glen) Ellis, Glenn (Angela) Adams. He is survived by a grandson Mark Gaudet, 20 step-grandchildren, 22 step-great-grandchildren. Dear uncle to Sharon, Donna, Suzan (deceased), Sandy (deceased) Val and Tommy. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray (Sheila) Millman, Bill (Melda) Millman, Rodney (Leanne) Millman, Tom Millman, Blaine Maillman, Helen Gavin, Edward Millman, Robert Henderson, Angela (Doug) MacCallum, Delbert (Durval) Murphy. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and acquaintances. He was predeceased by sisters, Jacqueline Froman and Ruby Haskett. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday afternoon, March 2, from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Rossiter and Pastor Sheila McCrea McCallum officiating. Interment later in the church of the Nazarene Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the church of the Nazarene Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
