Patricia Marie Edwards

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Marie Edwards. Surrounded by her loving family she lost a long and courageous battle with cancer. But her death was swallowed up in victory as she went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Feb. 27, 2013, at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck.
Left to mourn is her husband, Harold, Middle River; daughters, Belle MacDonald, Whitehorse, Y.T., Tanya Edwards, Whycocomagh; sons, Evan MacDonald, Dartmouth, Bruce (Bonnie) MacDonald, Whitehorse, Y.T., Brian, Alberta; and stepsons, Shawn (Komal) Edwards, Calgary, and Mark Edwards, Guelph, Ont. Patricia is also survived by her sister, Jacqueline (Murdock) Carmichael, North Sydney; and brothers, Rev. Kenneth (Jean) Allen, Exeter, Ont., Charles (Marsha) Allen, North Sydney; and James (Viola) Allen, Tarbot; as well as nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
At Patricia’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, Sydney. Burial to be announced at a later date and will take place in Pinehill Cemetery, River Bennett.
