Goodwin, Elwin Patrick – 60, Truro passed away March 3, 2013 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Yarmouth County, he was a son of the late William and Freda (Nickerson) Goodwin. Elwin was a very happy, caring person who loved his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by sons, Devin (Vicki), Truro Heights, Shawn (Nicole), Onslow Mountain; daughter, Vanessa Melanson, Yarmouth; sister, Wanda (Paul) Whitman, P.E.I.; brother, Eric, Truro; grandchildren, Hazley and Ryerson; aunts, Dorothy Hines, Sharon DeLong; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister-in-law, Irene. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 7 from 2-4 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
