DOUTHWRIGHT, CLARENCE EDWARD - 1937 - 2013 - Clarence Edward Douthwright, 76, of Lower Cape, passed away on March 5th, 2013 after a brief illness. Clarence was born in Germantown, on January 1, 1937, the son of the late James and Mary (Beck) Douthwright. He worked in the woods and was a heavy equipment operator. He also was a farmer, raising foxes and mink. Clarence enjoyed being outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his son, Edward Douthwright (Darlene) of Lower Cape. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda; sisters, Doris, Kathleen Douthwright, Ruby Beck and Doreana Duffy; brothers, Leo and Basil; half-brother, Eric.
Honoring Clarence's own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A family graveside service will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, at a later date.
