It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma Izetta Allwyne Trew. Mom was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan on December 28, 1922. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 3, 2013 at home in The Renaissance after a short battle with lung cancer.

Mom was predeceased by her brother Ken Cole and by her husband Bud Trew.

Izetta will be forever loved and missed by her daughters Donna Barrett and Carol (Stan) Costache, granddaughters Niki (Roben) Rudichuk and Sarah Costache, great-granddaughters Destrie and Elyssa Rudichuk, and by numerous other family and friends.

Mom was an avid fisherman and was always the one with the most fish at the end of the day! We all enjoyed many weekends camping at the local lakes. Mom was one of the very first residents of The Renaissance and was elected to show the many that followed what a wonderful place it was to live. She was active in their Wii bowling league and could often be found in the coffee room playing crib. Thank you to all the staff for their help these last few months.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
