Morris, Mabel F - 94 of Advocate Harbour and Halifax passed away peacefully Sunday March 10, at her daughter Verna’s home in Lower Sackville. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late George and Lucy (Blake) Berringer. She was predeceased by her husband Ashley “Harl” in 2007. She is Survived by daughters Verna Jonasson (Wayne), Lower Sackville; Debbie Lyver, Halifax; Diane McTiernan ( Tom ), New Glasgow; sons, Albert (Judy), St. Catherines, Ont.; Robert” Nick” (Beverley Boutilier), Halifax; Richard (Dale), New Maryland, N.B.; Kenneth (Shirley), Dartmouth; Gregory (Heather), Advocate Harbour. Brother George “Mick” Ottawa, Ont.; Brother in Law Floyd Morris, Advocate, sister in Law Betty Pomeroy Roach, Kingston, Ont. 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12-2 Wednesday at Smiths Funeral Home Parrsboro where Funeral will be held 2pm Wednesday, Keith Selwyn-Smith, DLM officiating. Burial in the Advocate Cemetery at a later date.
