EMES - Paulette Emes, age 60, of Battrum, SK passed away March 12, 2013 at the Prairie Health Centre in Cabri, SK. At her request there will be no formal service. Paulette is survived by her mother Joyce Emes, husband Barry Tonsaker, children Robert Emes, and Darlene (Ryan) Harnest, grandchildren Sophie, Kelsey and Christopher, brothers Chuck (Marg) Emes and Randy Emes, sister Judy Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Charlie Emes, and her grandparents Hector and Marjorie Leonard and Charles and Hazel Emes. Paulette was born on March 5, 1953 in Parry Sound, ON, and she attended school there. Her life partner was Barry Tonsaker and they lived happily on the farm in the Battrum District. Paulette enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and traveling. She was a strong woman who loved her family and friends. She had a positive outlook on life, even in times of trouble and strife.
