LeBLANC, NOELLA - Noella M. (Cormier) LeBlanc, 74, of 827 Green Street, Gardner died peacefully Friday, March 22, 2013, in The Highlands, Fitchburg, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. Born in Ste. Marie, N.B. on October 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Josephine (Collette) Cormier. Noella was raised in Canada, and came to the United States in 1960. She and her husband were co-owners of LeBlanc’s Stables in Gardner, which was established in 1974. Noella was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, traveling and going to Foxwoods Casino. Noella leaves her husband of 52 years, Leonard J. LeBlanc of Gardner; two sons, Steven J. LeBlanc and his wife Linda of Felton, DE and Thomas R. LeBlanc and his significant other, Betsy of Worcester; two daughters, Deborah M. Rosenblatt and her husband Michael of Plainville and Joann M. McAvoy and her husband Robert of Norton; four brothers, Yvon J. Cormier and his wife Rita of Bouctouche, N.B., Alvin J. Cormier and his wife Claudine of Bouctouche, N.B., Alderice J. Cormier and his wife Eva-May of Bouctouche, N.B. and Laurie J. Cormier and his wife Rosemarie of Dieppe, N.B.; two sisters, Aldea M. Goguen and her husband Jean-Victor of St. Antoine, N.B. and Dorice M. Dallaire and her husband Vincent of Ste. Marie, N.B.; one brother in law, Philip Cormier of Moncton, N.B.; seven grandchildren, Luc, Gillian, Samuel, Robert, Jeffrey, Jake and Charlotte; two aunts, Suzanne Bastarache of St. John, N.B. and Dorinne Cormier of Ste. Marie, N.B.; one uncle Neri Collette and his wife Aldea of Ste. Marie de Kent, N.B.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Anita Cormier; one brother-in-law, Neri Belliveau; one niece, Anita Maillet; and by one nephew Gerry LeBlanc.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 26th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner. Calling hours will be Monday, March 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School or to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, both located at 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
