DUNHAM, ROY - The death of Roy Dunham, loving husband to the late Jacqueline (Cook) Dunham occurred on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1942 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Sam and Jenny (McLeod) Dunham. Roy worked many years as an Industrial Salesman. He and Jacqueline spent many years at Pine Cone Trailer Park and Campground where they enjoyed friends and family visiting where they would sit and play cards from early evening until the next morning. His favorite place in the world was Smith’s Creek in Sussex, where he spent some 50 years walking the stream fly fishing and always had a great tale to tell. He is survived by his companion Donna Garnett of Saint John; son Chris and his wife Michele (Downey) Dunham and daughter Crystal and her husband Joe Adams both of Saint John; grandchildren Caytlin, Joshua, Kyle, Jacqueline and Hunter; one brother Bill Dunham of Saint John; sisters Freda (Clarence) Dempster, of whom he was very close and Margaret Lyons both of Saint John; many nieces and nephews of whom he was very fond. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 2 to 8 p.m. Memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
