CHAPMAN, DOUGLAS LEONARD - 1956 - 2013 - Douglas Leonard Chapman, 56 years, of Pine Glen passed away at his residence, on Friday, March 29, 2013. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Benjamin E. and Doreen G. (Mullin) Chapman. Doug dedicated 30 plus years working with Atlantic Underground Services in Riverview. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Bonnie (Bannister) Chapman; daughters Sandi Lee Chapman of Stoney Creek, and Julie Patt (Tim) of Riverview; grandsons Michael Chapman and Jonathan Chapman (Nadia Frenette) both at home, David Tripp, Meghan Tripp and Ashley Tripp, and Zachary Patt all of Riverview, and Stephanie Tripp of Moncton; sister Cynthia Chapman of Riverivew; brothers Danny Chapman (Judy) of Moncton, Donald Chapman ( Jeannine) of Moncton, and Tim Chapman (Cathy) of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Doug was excited as the arrival of his first great grandchild is expected next month. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother David Chapman.
A celebration of life will be held at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Monday, April 1, 2013 between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
