Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, in the presence of her adoring family, on Sunday, March 31st, 2013, Mrs. Gertrude E. Seymour of Spaniard’s Bay, age 71 years. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Myrtle Dwyer, parents-in-law Graham and Cassie Seymour, sister Betty Churchill, sister-in-law Carrie (Cecil) Rex. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Weldon of nearly 50 years, two sons Martin (Brenda), Jamie and one daughter Bobbi (Geoff) Pike; brother Jim Dwyer & Marlene & family & brother-in-law Hayward Seymour, Audrey & family; grandchildren Jillian (Chris), Shawn, Shane, Lisa, Derrick, Alex, Samantha, and a very special great-grandson Owen; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be welcoming visitors at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay on Monday evening April 1st from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 3, 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Service Wednesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard’s Bay. Inurnment will be at a later date. No flowers by request.
