FOUGÈRE, GENEVIÈVE - Geneviève Fougère, 87, of Autumn Lee Retirement Home, Moncton, and formerly of Shediac Bridge, passed away on Thursday, April 4th, 2013 at her residence. Born July 10, 1925 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Honoré and Léa (Vautour) Dupuis. Geneviève is survived by her four children: Eva Fougère of Dieppe, Emile (Noella Vautour), Alyre (Deb) of Shediac, Paul (Phyllis) of Calgary; nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband: Joe Nowland, her second husband: Jude Fougère; sisters: Mary, Liliane, Rita, Germaine; brothers: Alexandre, Yvon, Roméo and by a granddaughter: Jessica.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visitation took place on Sunday, April 7th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm, and Monday, from 9:30 am until departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, Monday, April 8th at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
