Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home, Placentia at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband Leonard, parents Elizabeth and William Wakeham, twin sister Emma (2011) sister Mary, brothers Joseph, Lar, Rudy, Patrick, Gerald and Alphonsus. Left to celebrate her life are her children Elizabeth Grant (Frank) Zita Morgan (Albert, deceased), Howard, Joseph (Bernice) and Leonard (Maxine), sisters Kathleen Keough and Maude Matthews. Left with fond and loving memories are her 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grand children, as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews and other family and friends.. Special thanks to Marie McGrath, Loretta Dohey, Dr. Anthony Rockel and the staff of Lion’s Manor Nursing Home. Your kindness will not be soon forgotten. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, with time for visitation to be given later. Funeral Mass and burial to take place at a time to be given later.
