POIRIER, ALDERIC "PERRY" (1925 - 2013) - Alderic Poirier, 88, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Lucas and the late Marguerite (née: Jaillet) Poirier. Mr. Poirier worked in sales all his life. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Anne (née: Smith); one son, Gary (Maryse) of Moncton; two sisters: Winnie (late Gerry) Allain and Ozelia “Mary” Blanchard, both of Bouctouche; one daughter-in-law, Debbie of Moncton; one sister-in-law, Helene of Bouctouche; one granddaughter, Theresa Tanya “Tammy” (Ron), as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents; he was predeceased by three brothers: Michel, Maxime and George.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grace Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at 11 am.
Interment at the St-Jean-Baptiste Parish Cemetery, Bouctouche, NB.
Donations to the Moncton S.P.C.A. or to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology” would be appreciated by the family.
