Today we gave you roses,
we placed them on your grave.
Our tears fell silently
for the one we truly loved is a memory.
We know that those roses will slowly wither away,
but your memory so precious will always stay.
It will never ease the sadness or the pain we have come to know,
for no matter how much time goes by we love and miss you so.
