Mary Jane (Waugh) Schable, 59, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, April 5, 2013 after a battle with leukemia.

She was born March 23, 1954 at RIH in Kamloops, to Reginald and Kathleen Waugh. She returned to Kamloops in 1991 after beginning her family in the East Kootenays. She is well remembered as an employee at RIH and devoted herself to others as a volunteer and compassionate friend. Mary Jane made friends easily and valued each friendship, old and new.

Mary Jane's greatest joy was her family and the love they shared. She will be missed dearly by her devoted husband William (Bill) Schable and her four loving children: Janet (Richard) Bryan; Trevor (Stacey) Schable; Kathleen Schable and Karl Schable as well as her seven precious grandchildren: Alyssa, Kaylyn and Jansen Bryan; Brittany, Emmalee and Liberty Schable and Xavier Schable. She also leaves behind her brother Bruce (Diane) Waugh and her sister Linda (Gary) Demosky as well as aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.

An evening Prayer Service will be held at Holy Family Parish in Valleyview on Tuesday, April 9th at 8:00 P.M. and a Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family on Wednesday, April 10th at 11:00 A.M.
