Teresa Nielsen joined her sons Ed and Tom, April 7, 2013.

She is survived by Ben (Audrey) and Paul (Andrea). All knew she loved her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Teresa was born May 16, 1923, in Timring, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Teresa shared her fond memories of growing up in Denmark and loved to visit on a regular basis. Teresa was a talented musician, artist, sewer, knitter and baker. She was well known for her cinnamon buns. Teresa loved to work in her garden so she could host family barbecues and lunches. She shared her Danish traditions with her family. When we think of Teresa, our hearts warm because of her kindness. The last line in her memoir states: "It's too bad life goes so fast, but life has been good to me!"

Much appreciation to her extended family for the past four years at Pine Grove. They opened their hearts and are a wonderful group.
