William "Bill" Baufeld of Kamloops, passed away on April 2, 2013 at the age of 65 years.

Bill was born in Whitehorse in 1947, and having moved to the interior, worked for many years at what's now known as Highland Valley Copper as a millwright. After his retirement, Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Bill is survived by his son Shane Baufeld and his wife Becky; step daughter Crystal Haines; grandchildren Calleigh, Hailey, Josh and Gillyanne; sisters Marge Baufeld and Marlene Sparks, brothers John Baufeld and Floyd Baufeld; Bill is also survived by numerous other family and friends.

Predeceased by Thelma Haines and Casey Tavares.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.
