GALLON-MITCHELL, DR. MARLENE - 1967 - 2013 - The death occurred of Dr. Marlene Deborah Gallon, 45, at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Maria, Quebec, she was the daughter of Ralph and Marjorie (Doherty) Gallon of New Richmond, Quebec. Marlene attended Guelph University, graduating from U.P.E.I. Atlantic Veterinary College in 1992. She practiced veterinary medicine in Alberta, Manitoba and New Brunswick. Marlene is co-owner of Mountain Road Animal Hospital and showed great respect for animals and birds. She enjoyed equine competitions in both Eastern and Western riding and driving their horses, Ben, Cappy and Smuggler, with dogs Daisy and Duke. In addition to her parents, Ralph and Marjorie, Marlene leaves to mourn her loving husband, Erroll Mitchell of Stilesville; brother Roderick of New Richmond, Quebec; mother-in-law, Kay Mitchell of Village Green, PEI and many friends and family members.
In keeping with Marlene’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or public funeral service. Private family service to be held. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
