Evelyn Larlee
LARLEE, EVELYN BEATRICE - Evelyn B. Larlee, formerly of Lr. Hainesville, NB passed away April 9, 2013 at Thomas Hall in Fredericton, NB. Evelyn was born at Lr. Hainesville in 1916, a daughter of the late Arleigh and Susan (Webb) White. She was employed for several years at the Victoria Public Hospital and the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in housekeeping. Evelyn enjoyed knitting and was known for her delicious apple pies and gumdrop cakes. She was a member of the Lr. Hainesville Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her two sons, Gary Moore (Sharon) and John Moore (Arlene), both of Lr. Hainesville, NB; two step-daughters, Barbara Ridout (Robert) and Nancy Larlee, both of Bath, NB; her grandchildren, John Moore (Joan), Derrick Moore, Sandi Martinez (Hector), Doug Moore (Crystal), Adam Moore (Julie), Sherry Holt (Brian) and Shelby Moore (Jason) and five step-grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.; two sisters, Madeline White and Vera Dickinson, both of Lr. Hainesville, NB; a brother, Arthur White (Phyllis), Ontario and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, George Larlee, the father of her children, Henry Moore, a sister Eula White, two brothers, Otis and Arnold White and a step-daughter, Linda McKay.
Visitation will be held at the Lr. Hainesville Wesleyan Church on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Lewis and Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Lr. Hainesville Cemetery.
