It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and best friend. Eddie passed away peacefully with his family at his side on February 9, 2010 at the age of 75 years.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Dorothy Marini of 52 years of marriage; his daughters Delena (Sean) O'Toole of Kamloops and Brenda (Ross) Thompson of Kamloops; cherished grandchildren Devon and Eddy O'Toole and Alyssa and Jocelyn Thompson; siblings Patricia (Paul), Mitch (Leigh), Rita (Tom), Rose and Bernie; sister-in-law Margaret Marini and brother-in-law Eric Egely, many nieces and nephews, as well as Papa's dog Max.

Eddie was born in Kennedy, Saskatchewan and later moved to Kamloops with his family to join his father's construction company, R. Marini and Sons. He was also involved with brother John's Glass company and later with Newport Construction. Eddie met the love of his life, Dorothy Martin and they were married on January 18, 1958. Ed was a kind, non-judgmental person who didn't have a negative thing to say about anything or anyone. He was a loving, caring man to anyone who came into his life. He enjoyed many beautiful summers at Kamloops Lake with his family at the cabins he built.
