Passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital April 10th, 2013, Pauline Margaret Simms (Courage) in her 90th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Walter, daughter Shirley (Robert) woods and 8 siblings. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her daughter Rosalind (Frank) Tiller; son Robert (Ann) Simms; brother Ralph (Selina) Courage and sister Marjorie Squires; nine beautiful grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and close friends. A special thank-you to the doctors and nurses of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital Emergency, OR. Recovery Room and 6 West for their care and compassion at this difficult time. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday and Friday, April 11th and 12th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13th 2 p.m. at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mount Pearl.
