It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Koch, on April 10, 2013 at Providence Place in Moose Jaw. Anne had just past her 97th birthday in March. She was born in Winkler, MB on March 22, 1916, the younger of two children born to Frank and Elizabeth Janzen. She was predeceased by her parents, and husband, Henry in 2012. Anne was a farm girl who loved to work with the animals; she had a passion for all God’s creatures. As a young woman, she moved to Winnipeg where she met her future husband Henry Koch. After living in BC, they moved to Moose Jaw where Anne was a long time employee of CanaDay’s Apparel Ltd. She had a steadfast and abiding love in her Lord and Saviour all of her life. Anne is survived by her daughter Shirley Benning (Dwight); two grandsons, Ron (Doreen) and Trevor (Nicole); four great-granddaughters Sarah, Jennifer, Zoe and Sami; one great-great-granddaughter Abigail; as well as her sister Lily. The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Place for their kind and compassionate care of Anne. A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 1:30PM. Pastor Scott Manley will officiate. Interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. For those so wishing, donations may be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658, Moose Jaw, S6H 7K7. In living memory of Anne, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
