At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, April 12, 2013 of John W. Folland of North Granville, aged 66 years.
Born in Breadalbane, November 22, 1946, son of the late Roy and Clara (MacLeod) Folland. Father of Glen (Anne), Edmonton AB.; Tanya Mugridge, Belmont, Lot 16; and Randy (Jody), Three Hills AB. Grandfather of Kaitlin and Johnathan Gamble; Colton, Denver, Ty and Nevaeh Folland. Step-grandfather of Christopher (Melanie) Knudson and Jake and Kaylee Mugridge. Step-great-grandfather of Joshua and Nicholas Knudson. Brother of Elmer (Elizabeth) Folland, Stratford; Eleanor Lynch, Fredericton, N.B.; Edward (Margaret) Folland, Breadalbane; and Paul (Jean) Folland, Fredericton, N.B. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his son, Ricky Folland; son-in-law, John Gamble; brother, Lloyd E. MacLeod; sister, Cora Mae Folland-Winsor; two sisters in infancy; sister-in-law, Peggy Folland; and brother-in-law, William Lynch.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the South Granville Cemetery.
