
Roger "Red" Breau
BREAU, ROGER "RED" - It is with heavy hearts, that the family of Roger Joseph Jr. Breau announces his death, which occurred at his residence in Hampton, NB, on Friday, April 12, 2013. He was the husband of Clara Lights. Roger was born in Saint John, NB, on February 6, 1970, the son of Roger and Donna (Stein) Breau. Roger will be sadly missed by his wife Clara Lights of Hampton, NB; parents Roger and Donna Breau of Hampton, NB; daughter Sarah Breau of Fredericton, NB; brother Kevin Breau and his wife Natasha of Springfield, NB; nieces Madison and Lauren; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Eliza Breau and his maternal grandparents, George and Lillian Stein. Roger believed with all of his heart, that there was no place like Hampton. He had no desire to travel, and, even Clara couldn’t convince him to take a family trip to Newfoundland. Work was important to Roger, he had the opportunity to work with Charlie Branscombe, World Wide Tub, Office Outfitters, Blair Dixon Construction and the Town of Hampton. He was also involved with their family business, Sarah’s Seconds and he spent many, many hours working in his garage.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 6 to 8PM and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. Funeral service, conducted by Father Kevin Barry, will be held from St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, at 11:00AM, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, followed by interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery.
