Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, April 12, 2013, Jack Swinimer in his 78th year, of Holyrood, formerly of Gold River, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his parents: Earl & Hilda Swinimer; sister, Joan Nauss. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 49 years, Margaret (nee Fleming); daughter, Stephanie Beaumont, Chester, N.S.; son, John Michael (Julie), Brampton, ON; cherished grandchildren: Amy, Michelle & Katie Rae; brother: Bill (Sue); sisters: Elaine Demont (Albert), Rae Sawler; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Monday, April 15 & Tuesday, April 16 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 17 with 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Cremation to follow. Memorial Service and Burial will take place in Jack’s native Nova Scotia in early May.
