It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Scott announce his passing on Friday April 19th 2013 at he age of 60 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Dinah, his two sons Trenton (Tammy) in Port au Port, Chad in Red Deer Alberta, his daughter Ragan in Halifax, his parents Ralph and Marguerite, his brothers Gary (Monique) in Sudbury, David (Carolyn) in St. John’s, Tom (Tammy) and Randy all in Stephenville, his sisters Jean (John) Butt, Della (Dan) Finney all in Corner Brook, Peggy (Dave) in St. John’s, Trudy Scott in Ottawa and Susan Scott in St. John’s. Also leaving to mourn is his mother in law Pauline Abbott and a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday April 24 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow and interment to take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Bay St.George Sick Children’s Foundation in John’s memory.
