Peacefully at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, April 20, 2013, of Kathleen (Kay) Mildred (nee Biggar) Morrison, of Maplewood Manor, Alberton. Beloved wife of the late James W. Morrison. Kay was born in Tyne Valley on April 8, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Johnny and Ruby (Murphy) Biggar of Tyne Valley. She is survived by her children: Barry (Arlene) of Alberton, Peggy (Phil) Pineau of Elmwood, Linda Barnett of O’Leary, Susan (Tom) Murphy of Alberton, Terry (Moe) of Ebenezer, Allan (Deanna) of Alberton, and David (Mary) of Charlottetown. Also survived by grandchildren Melanie (Troy) Gordon, Cory Morrison, Joel Pineau (Brianna Rice), Laura (nee Pineau) (Donovan) Morgan and Evan Pineau (Stephanie Peters), Shalyn (nee Barnett) (Ryan) Pinkham, Timothy Barnett, Jamie Murphy, Isla Murphy (Derek Ting), Robin Dunn, Jodi Morrison (Tyler Wallace), Thomas Morrison, William Morrison, Tamara Morrison, David Morrison (Jannele Mason), Emily Morrison, Sarah Morrison and great-grandchildren Codey Gordon, Rory Jane Pinkham, Shaw Morgan West and Quincy Davis Morgan. Also survived by brothers and sisters: Billy Biggar of Summerside; Emmett Biggar (Deletra) of Ontario; Joyce (Edgar) Williams of Whitby; Bruce Biggar (Jeff) of Oshawa, Ontario; Jackie Biggar (Carol Gallant) of Summerside; and Sherry (Bruce) Bujold of Cascepedia, Que.; and her sisters-in-law Beulah (late Albert) Sharpe of Ellerslie; Doris (Mel) Housley of Sechelt, B.C.; and Kathleen (Ralph) Enman of Summerside. Also survived by Aunt Elga Ramsay of Summerside and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and parents-in-law, sisters Judy (in infancy) and Anita Hanley, and by grandson Adam Murphy. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday, April 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Alberton, on Tuesday, April 23, at 11 a.m., Rev. Andrew Mortimer officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund or to St. Peter's Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
