RICHARD, ANTOINETTE - 1932-2013 - Antoinette Richard, 80, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Mont-Carmel, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Rozella (née: Arsenault) Gallant. Mrs. Richard was a founding member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe, a member of Le Mouvement des Femmes Chrétiennes, La Légion de Marie and of Sainte-Thérèse parish. She is survived by her husband, Charles; three daughters: Claudette (Reg) Lanteigne of Shanghai, China, Diane (Mike) Myers of Dieppe and Lise Richard of Ottawa, ON; three sons: Robert (Dianne Gosselin) of Dieppe, Jean-Guy (Charline Cormier) of Sherbrooke, QC and Paul (Lise Page) of Dieppe; one sister, Beatrice (Leo Goulet) Massicotte of Victoriaville, QC; two brothers: Augustin (Thérèse) Gallant and Alphée (Elise) Goguen, both of Dieppe; six grandchildren: Marc-André, Jacqueline, Dominick, Marc, Justin and Louis; two great-grandchildren: Samuel and Mégane; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Thérèse (Jean-Denis); and also by two brothers: Joseph (Nélida) and Jean (André).
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Palliative Care” or the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
