MILLER, BOB - Bob Miller of Riverview passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the age of 82. Born in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Ervine and Mary (MacDonald) Miller. Bob was employed at the Kinsmen House in Riverview for several years, prior to which he was a service rep. and machinist. He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the Royal Canadian Engineers and the Merchant Navy. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Zwarycz of Riverview; sons, Jim and Wayne, both of Moncton and Robbie of Saint John; his companion, Shirley Vautour with whom he resided; sister, Jean Miller of Saint John; brothers, Murray (Jean) of Minto, Orland (Wanda) of Grand Lake and Melvin of Springhill, NS; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Harry, Fred and Ken.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb's Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 24 at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Brent Ham officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Moncton will hold a memorial service on Tuesday at 1:45 pm at the funeral home. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
