Predeceased by his father Leonard Ghaney Sr.; sister Mercedes Gorman; niece Lisa Gorman; nephew Darryl Gorman; special uncle Tom Hearn; brother-in-law Brian Hawco; and parents-in-law Joseph and Mary Wade. Leaving to mourn his two children: Wade and Candace Ghaney and their mother Genevieve; mother Madeline Ghaney; brothers and sisters: Bob (Audrey), Steve (Esther), Mary (Frank) Barron, Rose (Jack) Doran, Betty Hawco, John (Shirley), Keith, Kenneth (Laura), Cyril, and Bridget (Bill) Hynes; and uncle Cyril Costello. Also leaving to mourn his nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Monday, April 22, from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 23, from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Colliers.
